Recommended settings

Do this once after logging in. Settings sync across devices.

Turn off auto subtitles

  1. Open Settings
  2. Find subtitle / subtitle language options
  3. Set subtitles to None / Off

  1. Still in Settings
  2. Find preferred audio language
  3. Set it to English

Choosing a stream

When you pick a movie or episode, stream names usually start with a short label.

Prefix Meaning
AIO Runs through my server — usually more stable
TB From an external provider — good backup

Either type is fine. Prefer AIO first. Usually the first stream in the list is the best option.

Change audio language while playing

Switch tracks in the player, or pick another stream if English isn’t available.

  1. Open the player controls while a video is playing
  2. Find Audio / Audio track
  3. Select English if available

If English isn’t listed:

  1. Exit the player
  2. Go back to the stream list
  3. Pick a different stream (another AIO or TB)
  4. Check the audio tracks again

Different streams of the same title can have different audio options — switching streams usually fixes a missing English track.
